- Under the supervision of staff nurses, learned to provide holistic care within the full scope of nursing practice.
- Refined my assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills through a collective 315 hours in medical surgical settings, including inpatient pulmonary, neurosurgical and trauma units at Maine Medical Center.
- Completed a 140-hour preceptorship on a 24 bed behavioral health unit to bridge any gaps in my clinical knowledge to fully assume the roles and responsibilities of a nurse.

EMT-1, University of New England (Nov. 2019 – present)
- Leads a three-person team of licensed and unlicensed EMS personnel responsible for responding to medical emergencies on the UNE Campus
Emergency Room Technician, UMass Memorial Medical Center (Jul. 2022 – present)
- Supports patient care goals throughout the unit in collaboration with RN staff through monitoring patient’s status, trending vitals, EKG’s collection, lab work, and miscellaneous routine procedures.
Leadership
- Designed and implemented a 4-hour scenario-based training using high fidelity simulation mannequins that sought to identify and correct performance gaps for a group of 10 licensed EMT’s
- Petitioned successfully for an additional $63,000 in funding for club sports athletics, which increased the quality of programming provided to 400 students across 20 teams
