My name is Dennis Sweeney and I am a senior nursing student at the University of New England. During my time at UNE I have been fortunate enough to work as an EMT, an ER tech, and a medical assistant. Those experiences have left me comfortable making decisions in demanding, fast paced environments. That mentality, combined with the nursing fundamentals learned in my BSN program have left feeling ready to take on the next step, working on the floor. I am looking for work on a unit that won’t just tolerate me as a new nurse, but has the expectation that I will be, and will push me to become a good nurse.
